When the founder came to us with a vision for a 30-seat sanctuary in the heart of White Town, Pondicherry, the goal was clear: create a space that feels like it has always belonged there.

They weren't looking for another fast-paced, trendy coffee spot. They wanted a home for slow food, quiet mornings, and a seamless blend of Franco-Tamil heritage—where French culinary precision meets local South Indian craftsmanship.

The Challenge

White Town is rich with character, but it’s easy to fall into tropes—either leaning too heavily into colonial nostalgia or forcing a hyper-modern contrast.

Our task was to craft an identity that felt deeply rooted, considered, and human. No bright neons, no generic coffee cup motifs, and absolutely nothing that felt mass-produced or clinical.
